Community and Forums Policy
The Girl.Body.Pride Community is a place to find support amazing women who love to help one another. Every one of us — no matter our age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or number of Facebook friends — has moments (or decades) where we look at our friends and at women we don’t know passing us by on the street and suddenly feel less than we are. Maybe that girl who served your latte at Starbucks had a smaller ass or your best friend has never had a bad hair day in her life. Or maybe the magazine covers made you feel fat when you went to the grocery store, your daughter is nervous about high school swim class because she has hairy legs, or you fervently hope your five-year-old never loses the confidence she exudes while prancing about in public in a pink tutu, super hero cape, and red cowboy boots.
It’s in those moments that we need to step back inside ourselves and focus on what those who love us see. And that, friends, is why we are all here. That means play nice in the sandbox. Period.
To ensure that we keep this community the supportive and positive environment that it is intended to be, please follow these simple guidelines:
* No trolling
* No Personal attacks
* Respect the privacy of others. What is posted in the forums stays in the forums.
* Contact Girl.Body.Pride staff here to alert us to offensive or inappropriate content.
And thank you for being a part of Girl Body Pride.
