Holly Fulger Introduces Us to Speaking of Beauty TV

Have you met Holly Fulger yet? She’s amazing and brilliant and inspiring. She also happens to be the author of a fantastic book on inner beauty and the force behind Speaking of Beauty TV.

Girl Body Pride isn’t just about making the curvy feel good about our hips because I don’t subscribe to the “Real Women Have Curves” way of thinking. Sure, the movie with America Fererra made me feel great about what I saw in the mirror, but we all know that it’s how we see ourselves that matters. Size 0 or size 20? On a bad day, I’m betting the thought process is pretty similar. You don’t have to be fat to need reassurance that you’re beautiful as you are and being skinny doesn’t give you a free pass into the land of Self-Esteem and Jeans that Always Makes Our Asses Look Fantastic.  Real Women have fucking issues, people. How we’re shaped has nothing to do with it. Or, at least, it shouldn’t.

And yet here we are.

Holly knows all of this. Being told to look like this or weigh that is part of the game when one decides to become an actor.

Speaking of Beauty TV is Holly’s answer to the world. It’s her Girl Body Pride. And it’s magnificent. Check out her book and enjoy the show. I’ve posted the launch episode for you below. Make sure you to see Holly’s interviews with women and girls from all walks of life on inner beauty and why we need to remember we’re all beautiful just the way we are.
