Pretty things make me smile. The simple and plan kind of pretty that doesn’t try too hard to be noticed because that kind of thinking is what other kinds of pretty fret about. That’s the kind I adore.
Maybe that’s why I love this new offering from my friends at Berkey Design on Esty. Stan and Kelly Berkey worked with me to create the Girl Body Pride bracelet, which benefits the National Eating Disorder Association. So I was thrilled when they agreed to jump back into collaboration mode to mark the launch of Strong like Butterfly: An Anthology with a new bracelet.
My best friend, H.C. Palmquist, wrote the essay in Strong like Butterfly that inspired the book title. In her essay, she explains to us all that we should never help a butterfly out of its coccoon. If we do, it may never learn to use it’s wings.

Berkey Designs will be giving away one of these lovelies to one lucky person to celebrate the launch of the Strong like Butterfly ebook. To enter, review the ebook on Smashwords before February 14! I’ll choose one winner at random and announce the name selected in the GBP Wordsbites Newsletter only, so make sure you sign up to stay up to date on the everything Girl Body Pride.
Sweet dreams, my friends.
